Celebrating a decade of Ecobnb, the Ecobnb Award honors the leaders in sustainable tourism, recognizing accommodations that excel in their commitment to environmental and social sustainability. Join us as we unveil the nominated hotels and the inspiring winners of the Ecobnb Awards. In a world increasingly focused on combating climate change and safeguarding our planet, these exceptional accommodations demonstrate how tourism can become a powerful force for positive transformation.
How was the selection made? The nominations were identified among the many hospitality that have applied for the award. The Ecobnb team then evaluated the nominees and chose the winners based on four main criteria: environmental sustainability, social sustainability, innovation and originality, and community feedback. All the nominated eco-stays were invited to the award ceremony that took place in Marche, at the Girolomoni farrmhouse.

Aosta Valley
Nuit a Pleiney – winner
This ancient wooden and stone house is among the winning accommodation facilities of the Ecobnb Awards in Val d’Aosta, thanks to the attention to sustainability. From bio-architecture, ecological heating, water saving, composting, organic breakfasts, and the use of natural cleaning products. The environmental concerns are many. The hotel is also engaged in educational activities that raise guests’ awareness of local products and energy saving.
Eco Wellness Hotel Notre Maison – winner
The Eco-Hotel in the Gran Paradiso Natural Park has earned recognition for its innovative ecological practices, such as the use of energy from renewable sources, the promotion of sustainable mobility, plastic-free management, and the use of products at km 0. This eco-sustainable mountain hut immersed in the nature of the Lessinia and Little Dolomites Natural Park is distinguished by the adoption of many green practices, such as the installation of solar panels and intelligent water management. Pineta Eco Hotels is another innovative example of eco-friendly hospitality, awarded at the Ecobnb Awards. Along the Via Francigna Parmense, this small eco-friendly Bed & Breakfast is a great example of sustainability and enhancement of the territory. Three Rooms with View of the Mountains is a small bed & breakfast that stands out for its construction with natural materials such as wood and earth, and enriched by creative furnishings obtained from recycling and reuse. Overlooking the wonderful Valmarecchia and the Montefeltro, this accommodation in the province of Rimini has been awarded with the Ecobnb Awards because it guarantees an ecological experience thanks to bio-architecture, electricity from renewable sources, solar panels, zero-km shopping to support the local economy and organic breakfast, which includes vegan delights.
B&B Civico 75 – winner
Near the Taro Natural Park and half an hour from Parma, B&B Civico 75 is a restored farmhouse with eco-friendly materials and furnishings. The use of renewable energy, breakfast with local products, organic vegetable garden, composting and rainwater recovery are just some eco-friendly practices adopted by the B&B. This eco-friendly farmhouse among the olive trees, near Florence, is committed to various ecological practices, such as the installation of photovoltaic panels for the production of clean energy and the use of plant purification. Glamping The Sun – winner
Glamping Il Sole, in the Tuscan Maremma, is also an example of responsible tourism awarded with the Ecobnb Awards. The eco-stay of distinguished for the use of ecological materials, a zero km kitchen and daily practices with low environmental impact. In addition to encouraging immersion in nature, it also educates guests to respect the environment, highlighting the importance of conscious tourism.
Casale Camalda – winner
Among the hills and woods of Arezzo, this agriturismo is committed to certified organic farming and sustainable hospitality. Among the ecological actions taken, we find the reduction of energy consumption and separate collection. The Casale, which had already won the award for best organic farm in the Casentino Forests, is one of the eco-stays awarded at the Ecobnb Awards.
Mareblù – the winner
This ecological residence near the sea and the Tuscan Maremma Park is an excellent example of how a more traditional hotels can be transformed into eco-sustainable hospitality through careful management to reduce environmental impacts. From the elimination of plastic bottles, to the introduction of local and organic products, from ecological soap dispensers to bicycles available to guests, eco actions are different. Among the hills of Chianti Rufina, there is another organic citrus awarded at the Ecobnb Awards. La Fontaccia, is an oasis of peace surrounded by nature with a view over the Val di Sieve.
