Cà del Buio is the first Eco-B&B in Liguria to have obtained the Casa Clima Welcome certification. The CasaClima standard is an energy certification system fueled by a very clear philosophy: renovating and constructing buildings with the aim of reducing management costs, limiting human impacts and contributing to protecting the environment.
In Cà del Buio you will find outdoor sports outside the room threshold, caves and castles within reach and Finalborgo less than 10 minutes away. Finale Marina, with its sandy beaches, is only 15 minutes away by car but for lovers of walking and slow pace, the sea can also be the destination for an excursion of just over an hour on foot or, why not, by bike.
A holm oak forest, terraced strips and olive groves surround the house. From the bedroom windows, looking south, you can see the green of the forest meeting the blue of the sea, dominated by the blue of the sky.
The structure has three double bedrooms inside one of the oldest buildings in the town of Perti, a historic hamlet of Finale Ligure. Dating back to 1400, it has been restored to its original beauty after a long and timely architectural recovery work accompanied by a spasmodic attention to energy efficiency. Each room has a private bathroom; in the common room there is a fridge, microfiltered water and a kettle for tea and herbal teas. Wi-Fi is free throughout the property.
You will not find courtesy bathroom kits, but ecological Shower Shampoo and Facial Hand Cleanser at your disposal in refillable dispensers.
Each room is furnished with unique pieces, often made with wood, iron, stone tools and material recovered during recent restoration operations, then reworked and reinterpreted by local artisans.
You can reach the climbing cliffs by taking the path that passes the house; you can reach the sea which is just 10 minutes away by car, or by bike; you can visit medieval villages, Saracen villages and ancient Maritime Republics; you will be able to enjoy nature, which is the only thing you will see and hear when you look out of the windows of your room.
Breakfast is served on the solarium terrace with fresh, 0km products supplied by local producers.
In the colder seasons, breakfast is instead served in the common room on the ground floor, fully created following the logic of the recovery of materials: an old renovated marble sink, wooden furniture made using chestnut, oak and centuries-old olive tree beams and architraves, a sideboard in national cherry wood from the early 1900s literally taken from the landfill...
