La Noisette B&B
It owes its name to the fruit of the tree which, together with the vine, represents the agricultural, gastronomic and cultural wealth of our territory, the Langhe and Roero.
The hazelnut tree at the entrance to our courtyard remains in memory of the hazelnut grove that surrounded my grandparents' house and the surrounding countryside at the beginning of the last century.
Now, in place of that house, once the last one in the country, this building stands, built with low energy impact and heated exclusively by renewable sources (photovoltaic and solar thermal), equipped with windows and insulation capable of minimizing heat loss, with the aim of limiting energy waste and its impact on the environment.
It has three double bedrooms for guests, an extra bed can be added to one of them.
The common room, used for breakfast, is also offered as a reading room during the day
Each room has different characteristics, all are equipped with a private bathroom and a mechanized ventilation system, for greater comfort in terms of climate and air quality.
Outside there is a large terrace and a private courtyard where you can park.
Arriving from the station, where Pavese could see the rolling hills from the train, continuing towards the town, you will find us near the tobacco shop.
High up in front of you, the Castello dei Conti Roero, one of the most impressive and best preserved medieval buildings in the area, which can be visited together with the park designed by Kurten, the Prussian landscape architect of the Sabaudi gardens.
Also in the upper part of the town you can admire the monumental work "Frammenti" by the artist Valerio Berruti, which covers an entire retaining wall of the historic centre.
Of great historical and artistic interest is the cemetery chapel of San Ponzio, which preserves the oldest frescoes in the Roero. In addition to the proximity to Alba (a bus stop is just a few meters from us, allowing you to reach it without using the car) and Bra, you will have the eco-museum of the fortresses at your disposal, one hundred kilometers of paths suitable for trekking and mountain biking or even just a stone's throw away.

Ho fin da subito avuto l'impressione di parlare con una persona estremamente cordiale e disponibile. Il sig. Valerio ci ha accolti con simpatia e gentilezza. Avevamo 2 camere essendo in 4, ma si poteva tranquillamente alloggiare in quella con il soppalco stringendo i bimbi nel matrimoniale con 1 adulto, essendo camere enormi e bagni super comodi. Tutto estremamente pulito.
A disposizione degli ospiti c'è un terrazzo coperto con divanetti e poltroncine dove rilassarsi alla grande. Non ci sono orari di rientro avendo le chiavi dell'ingresso.
La colazione prevede bevande calde e fredde, prodotti fatti in casa e marmellata km 0. Ci siamo trovati benissimo e tantissime opportunità per mangiare vicino anche a prezzi contenuti. Ma noi ci siamo accontentati del MC ahimè con la promessa di ritornare con più calma.

Valerio è stato un host davvero accogliente e disponibile: ha saputo darci consigli e indicazioni utili su dove mangiare e cosa visitare. È stato anche molto flessibile sull'orario di arrivo, garantendoci un'ottima accoglienza.
La nostra camera, quella Verde, è molto grande e spaziosa, moderna, dotata di tutti i servizi indispensabili e non.
Pur non avendola sfruttata, nella struttura è presente una terrazza che sa di convivialità, chiacchiere e benessere.
La posizione della struttura è ottima per girare nelle Langhe.
