The Ecobnb Award accepts applications from all types of accommodation facilities within the Ecobnb community. From small bed & breakfasts to large hotels, from vacation homes to campgrounds, from glamping sites to scattered hotels (alberghi diffusi).
What Does the Ecobnb Award Recognize?
The award honors accommodations that have integrated sustainability into every aspect of their hospitality, adopting innovative solutions to:
- Reduce ecological footprint: from the use of renewable energies to water and resource conservation to responsible waste management.
- Engage guests: environmental education, eco-friendly activities, and proposals for responsible tourism.
- Create value for the territory: support for local communities, enhancement of artisanal and agricultural productions at zero kilometers, promotion of the territory and its beauties.
