A welcoming organic farm nestled in the hills of Chianti Rufina, in Valdisieve (Tuscany), a stone's throw from Florence
A beautiful farm house nestled in the Sieve Valley, the land of Chianti Rufina, just 15 minutes from Florence. The organic farm produces an excellent extra virgin olive oil organic, while the farmhouse restored according to bio-architecture houses the farm.
You can choose between 3 rooms and 2 apartments, all furnished with care, reusing antique furniture and objects typical of the rural culture of Tuscany.
All are equipped with private bathroom, air conditioning, TV, Wi-Fi coverage, linen. The apartment is equipped with everything needed for cooking.
Two of the bedrooms and one of the apartments have the possibility to accommodate an extra bed for children up to 12 years.
All rooms and apartments can make use of the common areas, like the living room with thermo-fireplace, a small library and a collection of board games.
In the reception hall you will find all the information on the area and enjoy the copious breakfast.
In the winter months you can relax in the lounge by the fireplace, reading the book or having fun with our collection of table games.
In summer, you can sunbathe in the old wash house renovated and our herb garden. Or stroll among the olive trees and beautiful woods around the farm, following the paths.
You can enjoy the delicious Tuscan food from the farms in the Sieve Valley, which respect the local features and the short chain.

Un weekend magico. Samuele ci ha coccolato e guidato nella scelta di mete e itinerari, raccontando la sua terra con una passione rara e autentica. Squisita la cena e la scelta di vini e prodotti tipici. Esperienza perfetta!

Camera pulitissima, cena semplice ma ottima. Il servizio impeccabile, Elisabetta e Samuele sono gentilissimi, oltre ad essere dei perfetti host sotto tutti i punti di vista. L'aperitivo al tramonto in vasca è un'esperienza rigenerante, in più si aggiungono i prodotti di loro produzione e/o a km 0! Panorama sublime, organizzazione e atmosfera. Super consigliato.

The hosts are amazing! We had such a wonderful stay.
Also: the dinners were the best we had all holiday long.

Il posto è veramente bello e curato, le camere accoglienti, funzionali e pulite. Samuele è un proprietario attento e molto preparato sul territorio (e non solo) e si intrattiene con gli ospiti per consigliare itinerari belli ed insoliti. Elisabetta è una cuoca eccezionale e la cena è stata una grandiosa sorpresa con sapori equilibrati e persistenti e prodotti ricercati e di alta qualità. Anche la colazione è ampia e gustosa. Ci torneremo non appena possibile, grazie per la piacevole ospitalità!

La fontaccia è stata una piacevole scoperta.
Posizionata in collina con vista su val di sieve a pochi km da Firenze e vicina a molti borghi e cantine vinicole da visitare. La nostra camera era molto confortevole, pulita e spaziosa con un ampia terrazza e vista sull'oliveto.
Elisabetta e Samuele sono gentili e accoglienti. Elisabetta utilizza i prodotti del loro orto per preparare piatti casalinghi e gustosi (avvisandola per tempo prepara anche piatti stando attenta a rispettare intolleranze, allergie o scelte alimentari differenti). Samuele suggerisce itinerari e luoghi da visitare stupendi.

Wir waren 2 Tage zu Gast bei Elisabetta und Samuele, die sich bestens um uns gekümmert und uns versorgt haben. Die Lage des Anwesens ist einsam und sehr ruhig, unser Zimmer war groß und sehr sauber. Wir hatten unseren Hund dabei und haben uns alle sehr wohl gefühlt.

Such an amazing place, I love it when I stay at place that does not feel like a hotel and feels like home. La Fontaccia will make you feel like you are home, the owners are very nice and helpful and support their local community as I was lucky to tag along to a visit to the local butcher shop and fruit/vegetable store. Very comfortable place and great location to travel around the area to see more of Italy. A Must stay place.

We loved our stay at La Fontaccia. Sam and Elisabetta are Amazing hosts. The rooms were perfect and the food was some of the best of our trip. It was a peaceful location and very easy to go into Florence for the day. Would highly recommend!

Exellent Location and great hosts. We had a really great stay and can only reccomend this place. Especially the dinner outside on the terrace while watching the sunset. Great local wine, too ;)

Elisabetta e Samuele ci hanno fatto sentire a casa con la loro gentilissima accoglienza e disponibilità. Il loro agriturismo è in una posizione magnifica, lontano dalla città ma vicino a tutto perché con mezz'ora di trenino si raggiunge la bellissima Firenze. La vista è rilassante, boschi e qualche campo coltivato a chianti o oliveto a perdita d'occhio. Per quanto riguarda la camera devo dire che era davvero pulitissima e dotata di ogni comfort; arredamento per la maggior parte ottenuto da rigenerazione di mobili antichi e il resto in tema con attenzione ai particolari! Vi ringraziamo per l'accoglienza e la disponibilità. A presto!

Elisabetta, Samuele e Django ...semplicemente fantastici!! E' stato piacevole chiacchierare con loro e vedere tutto l'amore che mettono in quello che fanno e in quel posto stupendo.
Abbiamo apprezzato molto anche la loro disponibilità e i loro consigli su come muoverci nei dintorni. Camera molto accogliente e calda (cosa non da poco avendo soggiornato agli inizi di dicembre).
Cucina...tutto fatto in casa e tutto di ottima qualità (sorprendente la marmellata di diasperi!). Speriamo di ricapitare da quelle parti. Marta e Marco
