The La Frescura was produced in a farm of the end '700, and is a typical example of Sicilian rural architecture, surrounded by a lush garden of orange and lemon trees.
A stone's throw from the city of Syracuse, the sea and the most beautiful places in eastern Sicily, is the ideal place to stay in contact with nature; also placed on a hill and a few kilometers from the sea, the privileged geographical location of the farm, makes the stay particularly pleasant, thanks to the mild climate in winter and cool in summer.
The owners, the family Treccarichi, reside throughout the year in the company and welcome you with warmth and courtesy ensure their guests and to guarantee them a pleasant stay.
The farm La Frescura covers 12 hectares, making possible long walks with corners resting comfortable and scenic adorned with olive, carob, almond, walnut and Mediterranean plants.
The restoration completed in 2007, has maintained the original structural characteristics, characterized by the central beam around which develop environments.
The accommodations made, different from each other, are furnished in a simple but refined, equipped with everything necessary to offer maximum comfort to guests.
Guests have the opportunity to spend your days in total relaxation, in the tranquility of the countryside, of being in contact with nature and enjoy long walks on the estate.
Products IGP
The farm produces, in addition to the fragrant IGP Syracuse lemons, oranges, tangerines, pomegranates, lotuses and medlars.
From craftsmanship you are obtained delicious jams, preserves and a genuine olive oil.
The particular attention to the issues of seasonality has led us to conceive a form of agritourism "different" in which guests have a varied garden that produces seasonal vegetables, a choice of products are produced locally and qualitatively selected for the rediscovery of sound Mediterranean cuisine.
Activity in company
La Frescura agriturismo offers its guests the possibility to participate in agricultural work, supporting operators in the different activities.
The calendar of agricultural activities for the period and the product:
between September and January: harvesting oranges and tangerines, lemons, pomegranates, grapefruit, persimmon, carob and walnuts;
between February and March: picking tangerines and lemons;
May: loquats collection;
in June: plums, apricots and lemons;
August: figs and almonds.

Check-in time is between 4.00pm and 8.00pm, for check-out between 10.00am and 11.00am, you are always asked to communicate the approximate arrival time in advance.
