Via del Sale is a high-altitude pathway from the Alps to the sea, through the Italian regions of Piemonte and Liguria, and France. It is a dense network of different trails that date back to the Middle Ages when tradesmen used to carry salt from the coast to the hinterland.

Via del Sale is about 48 km long and extends between 1800 and 2000 meters above the sea level. The surrounding environment is beautiful and rich in flora and fauna. It is a medium difficulty route, which can be explored by mountain bike or e-bike.
