The guide of this route is the green and blue logo that marks this varied path leading to forest roads, meadows and rocky landscapes through the Teutoburg Forest.

A few meters from the entrance of the parking Münsterland with the first stunning views over the road there's a mighty boulder: the Witches' Kitchen. Legend says that in the past Witches prepared here their potions and ointments. The Roelantsgrab, probably an ancient tomb of the Family Roelant vom Gut Hülshoff in Tecklenburg, worth a detour.

Continue along the golf course reaching the former quarry Kleeberg and now a nature reserve. From here, the trail leads along the most rewarding stretches of the path into the forest with beautiful views.

We suggest you the climb to the tower Bismarckturm whose keys can be borrowed from the hotel reception Bismarckhöhe.

To end the route in relaxation we recommend a visit to the historic center of Tecklenburg, with its half-timbered houses beautifully restored.
