The headwaters of the river Soleo consist of large marshes located just to the right of the plains of Mount Gariglione. The plains that surround the river recall an alpine landscapes. The trail starts from the town Spinarva and continues down to the confluence with the stream Galina. The join of these streams of water generates, in a few hundred meters, a sparkling stream that gives its name to the valley. Later the same river through a rocky area creates numerous pools of exceptional transparency and the meanders, with gentle slopes on the sides wooded, until reaching a sudden bottleneck, featuring a waterfall and a large rocky puddle. Here begins the so-called "Manca del Diavolo"
The river flows steep and bubbly grossed between the walls of the mountains that form gorges, cloaked by dense vegetation, strike the visitor. It's a world of cold and crystal clear waters, waterfalls and pools of still water, barely rippled by rapid flashes of trout. A symphony of all the sounds and peals of water, a dip in a wild and untouched nature.
