How to activate your free-trial period?
Contact us and Ecobnb account manager will list your Green Key certified place in accordance with Ecobnb eco-requirements. We will insert your Green Key certificate to the listing and activate the 6-months free trial period. During this time you will pay absolutely no commission for the reservations.
You will also have the chance of adding extra offers and eco-activities in your surroundings that will increase your visibility.
What happens after the end of the free-trial period?
You will get an invitation email to choose the collaboration that fits best to you:
– listing for free and contribution of 10% commission for the bookings.
– annual membership (150 € pro year, less than 50 cents per day), so that you will have no commission for the reservations.
How does the Ecobnb platform work?
1. Eco-requirements:
to join the Ecobnb network, your hospitality must have at least 5 of the following 10 environmental requirements, internationally recognized by ecolabels and eco-certification schemes.
2. Reservation process:
Reservations are made through an easy and intuitive online system. Guests will contact you via a message system, which is linked directly to your email.
- The traveler contacts you asking for availability
- You can answer choosing one of these 4 options:
– Accept and propose a total price
– Offer availability for a different date (and propose a total price)
– Refuse the request
– Send a message (if you need more details) - If you have accepted the availability and proposed a total price, the traveler can confirm the booking: you will receive his direct contacts and you can ask him to pay an advanced deposit through a wire transfer or PayPal or credit card as a guarantee.
Coming soon: from January 2020 Ecobnb is offering an option for an instant booking that could easily synchronize with your channel manager.
3. Payments:
Payments are managed directly by the owners of the accommodation facility. Ecobnb will send the contacts of the traveler once the online booking is confirmed. You can decide whether guests should leave a deposit or pay you as they arrive. At any rate, guests will pay you directly.
4. Cancellations:
Cancellation policy is managed directly by the host and communicated to the traveler inside the conversation on Ecobnb, or via e-mail, phone, etc. You will personally arrange the payments by asking for a deposit to your account, for example, and will manage them directly even in case of cancellation.
