On October 3, we will be at EcoLogica, the event that will transform Progetto Manifattura in Rovereto into a laboratory of ideas, experiences, and good practices. You’ll find us there with a game dedicated to travelers and a talk on responsible hospitality. And there will be a whole program to discover, exploring biodiversity, mobility, the circular economy, local food, and nature.
How can we talk about sustainability without reducing it to a single choice or one area of our lives? Perhaps precisely by bringing together many different perspectives: the way we move around, what we eat, how we produce and consume energy, what we do with our waste, how we cultivate the land, how we travel, and even how we choose a holiday.
This is the spirit of EcoLogica – Workshops and Ideas for a Sustainable Future, the event organized in Rovereto to meet, experiment, and discover that the ecological transition can be concrete, creative, and participatory.

How do our habits change when we travel? And how much of a difference can an accommodation make when it chooses to reduce its impact and enhance the local area?
These are questions that are part of Ecobnb’s everyday work, and that we will bring to EcoLogica – Workshops and Ideas for a Sustainable Future, on October 3 in Rovereto.
It will be a special day for us too: an opportunity to meet our community of hosts and travelers in person, exchange ideas, and talk about tourism that takes care of places, people, and natural resources.
Come and discover what kind of traveler you are
During the day, you’ll find Ecobnb among the organizations taking part in EcoLogica.
We’ve prepared a simple and fun activity: a game to discover what kind of traveler you are, with plenty of green tips for your next trip.
Because there is no single way to travel responsibly.
Some people prefer the train to the plane, some choose to explore a destination by bicycle, some look for accommodation powered by renewable energy, some love eating local products, while others travel slowly to truly get to know a place.
Often, the impact of a journey comes precisely from the sum of many small choices.
Come and see us, play with us, and perhaps discover a few new ideas for your next trip.
Sustainability that guests appreciate
The highlight of Ecobnb’s participation will take place at 3:00 pm in the EcoLogica Arena, with the talk:
“Sustainability that guests appreciate. How can we provide great hospitality without weighing on the planet?”
A meeting designed especially for people working in hospitality who want to discuss good practices, the environment, and travelers’ expectations.
Because responsible hospitality is not just about reducing consumption or sorting waste correctly.
It also means creating the conditions for guests to discover the local area, get around without a car, explore local products, reduce waste, and enjoy a more authentic experience.
And it means communicating what an accommodation actually does, without turning environmental awareness into a slogan.
For us at Ecobnb, hospitality that cares for the local area means exactly this: a way of traveling that can leave something positive behind in the places we visit, beyond the traces of our own passage.
EcoLogica: many perspectives, one day
Our participation is part of a particularly rich program that explores the ecological transition from many different perspectives.
The program covers many topics: agricultural biodiversity, bees and forests, water, renewable energy and energy communities, the circular economy, reuse, waste reduction, air quality, climate change, and ecosystem protection.
Alongside the talks, there will be hands-on activities and opportunities to learn by doing: you can repair a bicycle, take part in a gardening workshop, discover where microplastics are found, experiment with the scientific method, create objects from reclaimed materials, or join a swap party.
This richness makes EcoLogica more than just an informative event: it is a place to experiment, meet others, and share ideas.
From sustainable mobility to cycling tourism
Among the events closest to Ecobnb’s world is the round table “Rovereto on Two Wheels”, from 10:00 to 11:30 am, dedicated to cycling tourism and sustainable mobility.
The discussion will explore how a cycling network can help transform an area into a destination, the economic and social value of cycling tourism, and the relationship between mobility, health, and quality of life.
These are topics particularly close to our hearts: the way we move around is an integral part of the way we travel.
And choosing a bicycle, the train, or walking can also transform the experience of a destination, allowing us to move through places at different paces and from different perspectives.
Discovering a place through food and biodiversity
EcoLogica will also host a Farmers’ Market, with local producers and organizations bringing seasonal fruit and vegetables, honey, cheese, preserves, organic products, and other specialties.
An opportunity to meet directly the people who grow, produce, and tell the story of local food.
Among the participants will also be La Pimpinella APS, an association committed to protecting agricultural biodiversity in Trentino. Visitors will be able to discover the vegetable and fruit varieties recovered by the association, browse publications on agrobiodiversity, and take part in a seed exchange.
For travelers, this too is a way of connecting with a place: choosing local products means discovering part of its history, traditions, and economy.
At 11:45 am, there will also be a convivial moment featuring orzotto from the Val di Gresta Organic Garden and a glass of Marzemino, dedicated to the value of local supply chains and waste reduction.
Nature, experiences, and journeys that leave a mark
The program continues with a rich calendar of activities to connect with nature, discover the local area, and learn through hands-on experiences.
There will be workshops about bees, activities dedicated to biodiversity, experiences to learn how to recognize indicators of pollution, activities on alternative proteins and energy communities. There will also be workshops for children and families, scientific experiments, botanical printing, gardening activities, and activities focused on microplastics, recycling, and reuse.
The local area will also take center stage through outdoor experiences: from cleaning up the banks of the Leno to the Rovereto Food Atlas walk, from visits to Manifattura Tabacchi to discovering the transforming spaces of Station for Transformation.
Here, sustainability is not just something to listen to: it can be observed, touched, experienced, and shared through concrete activities that connect people, the environment, and the community.
At 5:00 pm, in the Green Lounge, the book Living and Communicating Environmental Responsibility will also be presented. The book focuses on strategies for communicating and promoting responsibility toward the Planet and was written by Andrea Delmonego from Malga Riondera, one of Ecobnb’s accommodations.
And for those who love great cycling adventures, also at 5:00 pm, Alessandro De Bertolini will share the story of his 7,500 km, 75-day solo journey from the Gobi Desert to Everest Base Camp, through Mongolia, China, Tibet, and Nepal. A journey combining solidarity and scientific research, as well as exploration, slow travel, and encounters with local communities and landscapes.
