From skiing to mountain biking, from Forest Bathing to food tastings: here there is always something to do. You can't miss a boat or pedal boat ride on the beautiful Lake Lavarone, a walk in the center of Folgaria, among its houses and frescoes, a visit to the Forte Belvedere-Gschwent, one of the largest in the Austro-Hungarian fortresses of the World War in Trentino and a few hours in the fairytale village of Luserna where you will find the Documentation Center and the Haus Von Prükk House-Museum that will allow you to discover and understand the Cimbrian history. Among the pastures of Alpe Cimbra there are also educational farms where families can spend special moments with animals in the midst of pristine nature. You'll find the Bike Park of Lavarone, where there is also a pump track at an altitude of 1,200 meters.

Thematic trails, walks for the whole family and incredible trekking routes: Alpe Cimbra offers a thousand possibilities to experience nature and the mountains on foot or by bicycle. Among the most popular paths there is the one that from the center of Folgaria leads to the top of Mount Cornetto in just over two hours. Families can discover Guardia, a village painted with murals, and from here cross deciduous and resinous woods to reach the Ofentol waterfall and the Dos del Stock panoramic point, from which you have a spectacular view. In Alpe Cimbra there is also one of the most beautiful thematic routes dedicated to the Great War of the region, which crosses a long ridge trench, dug between high rock walls, made of slits, observatories and caves overlooking cliffs and steep slopes .

Local food and delicacies

Between Trentino specialties and Germanic heritage, the Alpe Cimbra area has a rich gastronomic tradition. In the mountain huts and in the restaurants you can taste the typical Vézzena cheese, the traditional potato polenta, the local speck, the carne salada, the delicious mushrooms, the crêpes called Kaiserschmarren, the Tonco del Pontesel, a stew of mixed meats and fresh Lucanica and pure mountain honey, main focus of a local museum.
