An organic farm and educational farm immersed in the nature of Trentino, in Mezzomonte di Folgaria. Here you can stay in a hut in stone and wood, renovated in bioarchitecture, and taste the products at zero km of the farm.
The organic mountain farm is immersed in different ecosystems including the forest and the stream, has three buildings, renovated with natural materials, renewable energy with photovoltaic and solar-thermal panels, phytodepuration of the drains. Having recovered mountain terraces, he cultivates and transforms organic vegetables, mountain fruits, herbal teas, Bach flower bud derivatives.
The presence of various animals ensures the production of strictly organic genuine products. The company is family-run and the welcome of guests is guaranteed by expert people with company tutor qualifications. It is proposed to schools with guided tours and educational activities such as, for example: the complete cycle of wheat (4 meetings), the cycle of wool (2 meetings), that of milk and others open to all, especially to schools. Practical nutrition education meetings for both children and adults on the complete cycle of food, vegetables, milk, eggs, wild, aromatic, decorative herbs, from the field to the table.
Here you can stay in a two-storey stone and wood hut surrounded by woods and close to the La Fonte farm. The house has independent heating, kitchen and services, and is rented for a minimum of 7 days. At guests' disposal: barbecue, lawn with tables, company internal rooms, services and products. Free Wi-Fi available both in the hut and on the farm.
The house consists of kitchen, veranda-living room, bathroom, bedroom, attic-handling, cellar. It is equipped with all necessary dishes for meals; we also sell jams, milk, yoghurt, cheeses, vegetables, preserves, meat, knowing also bread, all organic, or more products in our farm shop in Rovereto.
At 1.5 km there is an excellent family-run pizzeria restaurant / (closed on Mondays).
The cabin can accommodate 4 people, there is a double on the 1st floor, a bed-platform for one and a half in the kitchen and a single and double sofa bed on the veranda which, however,
in winter it can be a little cool, however very beautiful because it is made with a glass roof, so it is possible to observe the sky and the stars when it is clear.
The house has been renovated with biological materials, cement without additives for the slabs, lime and lime for the walls, even the painting is pure white lime with the addition of a little linseed oil, the wood is treated with tung oil, a natural impregnating agent with citrus oil as a solvent.
Outside in good weather you can take advantage of a bench, a table with chairs, a pergola, a large lawn, 2 outdoor fountains always with drinking water. Heating is guaranteed by three electric radiators, two of which are equipped with a thermostat, preset. And two wood stoves for those with enough experience!
The hot water is supplied by 7sqm of solar collectors placed on the roof, in case of prolonged absence of the sun it is possible to convert the heating into electric (by asking the owners).
Program of summer educational activities on the farm: it is always possible to participate in the work with plants and animals. Free WiFi internet connection, on company premises, at about 150ml.
Possibility of excursions in woods, meadows, paths and peaks, starting from the farm and from Folgaria.
At 5km kilometers there are ski slopes and winter skating rink, indoor swimming pool, riding stable, shops and
various activities organized by the tourism promotion company. Three lakes at ½ hour and 45 minutes.
In Rovereto (15km) there is the very modern MART Museum of modern art, the Futurist Museum Depero,
the War Museum, as well as frequent cultural routes.
