Experience viticulture in Sant'Eufemia vineyards

Via Sant'Eufemia 16 - 12050 Sinio - Province of Cuneo - Italy

Surrounded by vineyards, learning about vines and how to care for them. Understanding the ethical value of a glass of wine and the essential bond between vineyard and winegrower. Sharing the pleasure of a typical "merenda sinoira" in good company at the end of an intense and immersive experience

Two nights and three days at a farmhouse, with your eyes and heart immersed in the Langa hills! You’ll need to use all your senses to fully embrace this experience: SIGHT to enjoy the breathtaking views this region offers at every bend; HEARING to listen, at midday, to the tolling of bells from one hill to the next, or to recognise the sounds of nature and farm work; your sense of SMELL to catch the scents (of grass, flowers, animals, rain) carried on the breeze; your sense of TASTE to appreciate the uniqueness of a lightly toasted ‘Tonda Gentile delle Langhe’ hazelnut and the intensity of a raw-milk Robiola di Murazzano; your sense of TOUCH to feel the texture of the earth and learn how to tend the vines. Not to mention the wine: here, the heart comes into play too!

Day one: A light welcome drink to get to know each other a little.
Day two: in the morning, a tour of the area to begin immersing ourselves in the world of viticulture in a relaxed way. We recommend the WiMu interactive wine museum in Barolo; or Grinzane Cavour Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, home to the Enoteca Regionale del Piemonte and the fascinating Museo delle Langhe dedicated to the history of local viticulture, enhanced by a permanent educational and immersive exhibition at the foot of the castle
In the afternoon, we head down to the vineyard to observe the differences between the grape varieties and begin tending to them (duration: approx. 2.5 hours); in the late afternoon, a traditional Piedmontese ‘snoira’ snack, where local cuisine meets the bottled wines from our estate. ALL LOCALLY SOURCED.
Day three: a visit to the cellar and a tasting of wines still maturing, accompanied by a few nibbles (approx. 1.5 hours).
