1. Best things to do in Rimini
Rimini is like blues, said Luciano Ligabue. That’s it. In a tent or at the Grand Hotel in Rimini, made famous by Federico Fellini, you'll find art, culture and a unique atmosphere. Full of suggestions, all Italian, made of heart and hospitality of Romagna. Seaside metropolis par excellence, the mother of the tourist boom of the 60's, of kiosks, wraps and clubs. And a lot more...
Ancient and new city, it is considered a perfect holiday destination for people who want to relax for a day at the beach, or searching for a night at the disco, visiting art treasures handed down from the past.
It has two hearts: the old town, with its villages, and La Marina; fifteen kilometers of beach and divided into ten fractions, each of which has its own traditions and rituals.
Everything here is mixed: the mazurka outskirts with the modern mood, the old with the new, the sacred with the profane. The Rimini uninhibited and pleasurable and thefamily and traditionalist one. Destination for everyone, from brooding hedonists spirits.
And of course there is the sea, the sea of children, not the blue and placid as a postcards, but the "good" one, with a sandy bottom on which you can walk quietly up to several meters from the shoreline. The Adriatic is a mindset, a matter of heart, not just of color.
From the time of Edoardo Vianello and "sei diventata nera-nera-nera" this slice of Italy identifies bathing for excellence... lose it for snobbery would be a shame ...
