- Our Advice:
The Monterano Natural Reserve covers just 1,000 hectares of land. You can visit it on foot or on horseback. There are several parks for cars, from where mani trails start. You can visit the ruins of an ancient city, of the abandoned church of St. Bonaventura, the pools of sulphurous water and the river.
It is a reserve waiting to be discovered, and the best thing is that it is only 1 hour from the city of Rome!
