I did it through all the 42 km in 7 stages - tells us Michela Nicolini.
Every "Strodo" has its own charm and crosses villages and quarters where life runs low and away from the hustle and bustle of the town. The nature is wild and reach in scents, while the routes have a lot of panoramic points. You will enjoy again the taste and pleasure of the soft mobillity.
You will pass through places that have experienced battles of the First and Second World War, reach in history, battle trenches and evidence from the two great wars.
Nowadays these are a sort of paradise for whoever loves having walks and is looking for a holiday in direct contact with Nature. Conco is a wonderful sunny village overlooking the plain. Through its alleys time seems to be frozen and you will breathe the air of a humble life, along with the genuine things.
From this point seven routes of different length, from 4 to 15 km, begin. The routes are seven just like the seven municipalities of the Plateau of Asiago, which are also called "Strodi". Once they were the streets linking the villages together. People used to walk every day along these paths, with mules and carts, in order to meet the inhabitants of the other villages.
Today they have become incredible low itineraries surrounded by unspoilt forests and green valleys, only interrupted by breath-taking views of the landscape.
These very particular places are the destination of people looking for new emotions and become very often a starting point for documentaries and/or services dedicated to the discovery of these so called "middle lands".
