A hike in the valley of 'Orfento, a slice of heaven covered by vast and lush beech forests crossed by numerous canyons rich in water, roaring waterfalls and where you really just part of nature.
Another plus point is the inability to use the phone in the D'annunzio's idea succeeding fusion between man and nature, the panismo.

Me and my girlfriend came almost by chance: we passed the entrance to the reserve and we walked. The path is tortuous and tiring but the view is simply divine: it makes you look at the center of the world.

The road continues between ups and downs, bridges, rocky gorges, birds chirping and amazing scenery. Occasionally you encounter fallen trees, rocks, snow or small streams that make the journey more arduous, but nothing serious, in fact makes it even more beautiful experience. Just be careful where you put your feet: it starts from the very top, then slowly descends and follows the river. The latter is really a feast for the eyes: relaxing sound and enjoyable, plus there are also several small waterfalls that make it even more fascinating. Only after we discovered that the forest organizes a lot of excursions. This place is ideal for those looking for adventure, rest and wellness, recommend it to everyone to relax the mind. It notes that the phone does not take, you are completely isolated from the rest of the world, but it is a must do, because sometimes a bit 'of healthy solitude in the woods is good for the spirit and makes us stronger. The entrance is near the spa hotel "The Rèserve", and the exit is located on the bridge of Caramanico, we will definitely return.

Finally Caramanico Terme is a quiet, quaint, where you can drink sulfuric water and go to the spa. This reserve is just the icing on the cake, do not miss it.
