We start from Pinzano al Tagliamento, which is located in the center of the region. Already here the natural landscapes are spectacular, thanks to the river and the abundance of forests. We’re in the west coast of the river. Along the path near the high banks of the river we find Spilimbergo, a charming town known as the "city of mosaics". If you want to stop, do not miss the Castle and the Cathedral of Santa Maria Maggiore, one of the most important Gothic buildings in the region. At Ponte della Delizia we pass in the other side of the river.

Lignano is a picturesque and very lively town, with eight kilometers of beaches and many activities to do. It’s situated on a peninsula that stands between the Adriatic, the river Tagliamento and the Lagoon of Marano. Ernest Hemingway has appointed it Florida of Italy.
