This eco-chic and organic farm is located on the island of Itaca. The farmhouse is immersed in a wood that faces a bay. Here you can find a salty water infinity pool, your kids can have fun with the animals from the farm and in the morning you can enjoy a delicious breakfast with organic products.

Why is it green

In this facility the food is local and organic, the owners take care in sorting the waste of more than 80%, it uses flow reducers to avoid the waste of water and it recovers rainwater.

What you cannot miss

On the island you can visit the capital of the island, Vathi, considered one of the most beautiful harbours of the Mediterranean, Anogi, a village where you can admire ancient megaliths 8 meters tall, and other little villages. Itaca is known to be one of the places that took part in the adventures of Ulisse. Here you can visit the Nymphs’ cave, a place where, based on the legend, Ulisse left his belongings to be guarded by the nymphs once he landed on the island. Another legendary place is the spring of Arethousa, where Eumeo, a loyal servant of Ulisse brought his pigs to drink.

Mani Sonnenlink – Pirgos

This quiet oasis is immersed in a wild landscape, on which base there is the intense blu of the Greek sea. During the summer period are offered daily yoga classes, here you even choose among massages and therapies. In the hotel, there is even a Greek theatre in the open air where during the summer months concerts are organized.

Here you can relax in the green of a pine forest, in front of the wonderful Corinth bay. This natural farm is located in Nessonas, in the Greek hinterland. The buildings that compose the farm are realized with natural materials with a low environmental impact. In the organic garden, a lot of vegetables are cultivated.

Why is it green

This farmhouse is self-sufficient on an energetic level. The electricity comes completely from the photovoltaic panels and the wind micro-generator. The sorting of waste and solar panels to produce hot water are the other two environmental conscious actions that this facility is taking.

This ecolodge is located in the west part of Crete, in a protected natural area. The building has been renovated with a lot of care and you can still observe the original architecture. Every room is unique and it still has the original details.
