The Plesnik Vacation Farm

Surrounded by nature, hiding in the shadow of green trees, in a place where dreams become reality lies the Plesnik Vacation Farm. This organic farm represents paradise for those who love everything homely and healthy. It is the perfect place for everyone who likes to walk down the path of old folk traditions and wants to relax in a friendly peaceful environment. When you open your eyes in the morning, all you see are blue skies and the mighty Ojstrica Mountain inviting you to climb it ... Heaven!

We make you feel as though you are an out-of-town guest invited to stay overnight. Once you have been personally welcomed and given the grand tour of the home, your host will graciously offer to make dinner plans and tour arrangements for you. We strive to provide a unique and beyond-the-ordinary experience that will leave you feeling welcomed, pampered, refreshed, and above all, filled with love and passion for Slovenia. The home has a unique personality, which combined with our passion for hospitality, gives you an appreciation unlike any other. It offers a totally different experience to spend the night in a room that gives you a sense of history. You will always be able to chat with the host over breakfast about the farm’s past and the traditions of our village.

There are 5 guest accommodations with private baths. Panoramic mountain views of the Kamnik-Savinja Alps are available from our comfortable inn.

As far as the food goes, we believe that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Our organic Slovene gourmet breakfast includes fresh cottage cheese, cheese, eggs, jam, butter, honey, sour milk, yogurt, savinjski želodec and salami, all made according to our grandma's recipes which will satisfy your hunger and fill you with energy for the day.

If you or your children like animals, you will be pleased to know that we raise sheep, cows, pigs and chickens on our farm. There are also a dog and two small pot-bellied pigs for you to play with and look at.
