We’re fully off-grid and powered by the sun. Rainfall sustains us, and every drop and watt is cherished and shared with care. But this isn’t rustic living. It’s thoughtful, beautiful, and quietly luxurious. Big skies, open spaces, and peaceful terraces invite you to let go of noise and settle into nature’s rhythm.

Our seven suites, apartments and villas each have their own personality — from simple and serene to spacious and airy. Natural materials, artisan touches, and wide terraces bring the outside in. Wherever you stay, you’ll wake to birdsong, watch the light shift across the valley, and at night, gaze at stars so bright you might forget time altogether.

Sirius, Altair and Vega are intimate and calm, each with private terraces perfect for sunrise or stargazing. Aquila and Lynx are larger, with beautiful valley views, while Andromeda offers open-plan living with a flexible mezzanine for extra guests. Cassiopeia, our largest villa, is made for those who simply want space to stretch out, entertain or unwind in privacy.

Vale das Estrelas is designed for adults and older teens (12+), making it a peaceful retreat for couples, friends, creatives and those seeking deep rest. We welcome those who appreciate quiet, spaciousness and the beauty of nature — and kindly ask guests to leave the littlest ones at home.

Here, sustainability is woven into daily life. We don’t use traditional air conditioning, but the natural breezes keep us cool. Short showers, solar power, and gentle reminders help us — and our guests — to tread lightly.

Despite feeling a world away, we’re close to Alentejo’s most breathtaking beaches, quiet villages and coastal trails. Spend the day exploring or stay right here with a book, a glass of local wine, and nothing but birds and breeze for company.
