House Manual Welcome to our farm We hope you enjoy a peaceful and restorative stay in close connection with nature. Location The house is located on a farm just 5 minutes from the centre of Lousã, where you will find supermarkets, restaurants and cafés. Access The property is accessed through an iron gate. Please make sure to close the gate when entering and leaving, for safety reasons. Access to the apartment involves stairs, therefore it is not suitable for guests with reduced mobility. Nature & rural setting The apartment is located in a rural environment. You may occasionally encounter small animals that are part of the local ecosystem. We kindly ask you to: Respect wildlife and nature Avoid disturbing the animals Quiet hours This is a place dedicated to rest and tranquillity. Please keep noise to a minimum after midnight, unless previously agreed. Plumbing To avoid serious plumbing issues: Do not flush wipes or any materials other than toilet paper Please use toilet paper in moderate quantities only Sustainability This space follows sustainable practices. We kindly ask for your collaboration in separating waste: Paper Plastic/Glass General waste Bins are available outside the apartment. Cleaning For longer stays, we can provide a cleaning service upon request, at an additional cost. Safety There are restricted areas on the property, clearly marked, including: A water tank approximately 2 metres deep Two wells Guests with children should take extra care. Shared spaces The owners live in the main house. While indoor spaces are independent, some outdoor areas are shared. We do our best to ensure privacy, but occasional encounters may happen. Bicycles Bicycles are available upon request, subject to availability.
