Monte Rosa

Choose one of our many accommodations, from cosy rooms to comfortable apartments of different size.
Amidst 10 acres of rural land with an abundance of old almond, olive and fig trees, you will find 10 rooms and apartments varying in decor, size and facilities. Each space comes complete with its own private bathroom with shower or bath and the option for self catering - either by using your own private kitchen (dependant on your choice of room) or by sharing the communal outdoor kitchen facilities. There is also a barbecue in the garden for general use. All of the rooms have a pleasant outside seating area and in the winter we provide indoor heating facilities either through a wood stove in your room, or by electrical heater to keep you nice and warm.

The buildings are set within colourful gardens with winding pathways, terraces and seating areas. All guests are welcome in the attractive common room where you will find games, a television and a comprehensive, multilingual library specializing in books on personal development.

This area is also used as a restaurant and is where we serve breakfast daily. On pleasant days we eat outside on the terrace or in the garden. From April through to September a communal dinner is organised 3 times a week for which you can sign up. You can help yourself to drinks and snacks from the self service honesty bar.

Monte Rosa is a great location to access hiking trails and we have a folder with many good recommendations available to you in our communal area. There are various hikes, some along cliffs and beaches and others inland; hiking through forests of pine trees, cork oaks and "medronheiros" or through the eucalyptus forests of the Monchique mountains. For those without their own transport we also offer transfers.
