Nestled in the peaceful Portuguese countryside, Quinta Lotus Azul is a unique retreat center designed for small groups seeking tranquility, personal growth, creativity, and connection with nature.
Surrounded by one hectare of lush gardens crossed by a gentle stream, the property offers an inspiring setting for retreats, workshops, wellness seminars, silent retreats, and mindful group experiences Organizers are welcome to bring their own groups, while individuals can also join retreats and activities personally guided by the founder.
The estate accommodates groups of 4 to 9 guests and is available exclusively as a whole-house rental. The property features 9 comfortable bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, a cozy library lounge, and a spacious 140 m² activity hall, ideal for meditation, yoga, group discussions, creative workshops, and conferences.
Guests can immerse themselves in a peaceful atmosphere that encourages reflection, focus, and renewal. Retreats may include guided meditations, relaxation sessions, digital detox experiences, holistic therapies, vegetarian cuisine, and other wellbeing activities.
Quinta Lotus Azul is the result of a long journey dedicated to personal development and ecological living. After creating retreat centers in Guadeloupe and Costa Rica, founder and therapist **Jean-Claude Fait** returned to Portugal to bring a new vision to life. Together with a passionate team, he transformed this land by planting more than **400 trees**, numerous shrubs, and flowering plants, creating a vibrant ecosystem where nature and human creativity coexist harmoniously.
The property combines carefully restored traditional stone buildings with thoughtful design inspired by beauty, simplicity, and respect for the environment. Curved pathways wind through the gardens, inviting guests to slow down, reconnect with themselves, and experience the healing power of nature.
Retreats can range from 2 to 6 nights, with accommodation, three daily vegetarian meals, and full access to the main hall included. Reservations are required at least one month in advance to ensure the best possible experience for every group.
