In the middle of an untouched cork oak forest lies the open tree house, in which nature and the fascinating starry sky can be fully enjoyed. Life is tuned to the rhythm of nature.

In the south of Portugal, in the Alentejo campus, there is a powerful gem. In the middle of a forest that has been untouched for decades with ancient cork oaks and olive trees is the tree house, where you can sleep in nature and experience the strength, silence and coolness of the forest.
On the hill you have a wonderful view. There is the outdoor kitchen with a fireplace, shower and dry toilet.
There is also a caravan for rent and the possibility to put up tents.
If you are interested, breakfast can be booked for 7.50 euros and dinner for 12.50 euros. The food is organic, vegetarian and, if desired, vegan / gluten-free, etc. Most of the vegetables come from our own garden.
The accommodation
The area around the tree platform with its seating area is completely private
Natural places in the forest with hammocks and tree stumps invite you to linger.
The entire site is freely accessible.
The ruin with its open outdoor kitchen and fireplace can be shared. The composting toilet and the outside shower as well.
Other important information
When it rains there are alternative simple sleeping options in the ruin or in a tent.
There is also the possibility to stretch a tarpaulin over the platform.
The place is under construction and everything is simple. The water comes from the source in the forest and we are pumped up with solar energy. The warm shower is thanks to the radiant power of the sun, which heats the water to wonderfully pleasant shower temperatures. The instantaneous water heater is used on cloudy days and a warm shower is also possible in this case. All of the electricity on the Monte is generated by solar energy. My concern is to use the advantages of modern technology to be able to use things like a washing machine on the one hand and at the same time to use as little electricity, water, etc. as possible to enable a life in harmony with nature .
PACKING LIST:
- Please bring your own towels! For the sake of the environment:)
Towels are provided for stays of 5 days or more.
- Please bring along biodegradable shampoo and toothpaste or purchase here, as all the water flows directly into the garden
