Wonderful experience, warm welcomed by Sergei and his family, we felt like we were part of them.
Great place to stay, the cabanas and services were simply perfect, the shared kitchen is precious.
Highly recommended to visit the wonderful Terceira Island.

This was a really nice experience. Beautiful environment and very nice individual little wooden houses. All the fruit was organic. Both of the owners and their kids were very friendly (and the cat that lived there was very friendly too :D ). Everything was very clean and the place is well located (10 min walking to the nearest town and 30 min walking to the nearest city, which is Angra do Heroismo). Moreover, the owners lend me a bike to use whenever I needed to. To sum up, it was a very relaxing and nice experience that helped me connect with nature. I will go back for sure!

We spent 6 nights with our 2 kids (8 and 6 years) in the camp. They loved it because it was relaxed, secluded and easy going. We had a small cabin with 2 floors that could hold only 2 matrasses and some luggage. There are 2 of these cabins, in the other part of the camp more smaller cabins are availabe. The matrasses were good and we also got some towels. We spent all time outside due to the small size of the cabin, either in front of the cabin or in the shared kitchen. Nice way to meet other guests. The shared shower and toilet were always clean. Communication with the owners was direct and punctual. Good value for money, we like the vibe of the place, but it is definitively not a hotel. Having a rental car is advisable to reach all the highlights of the island, or Angra or Sao Mateus for lunch/diner and parking is not a problem.

We live in London, so our simple, wooden, rustic quarters in what seemed the wild jungles of Banana Eco Camp were an absolutely perfect setting for four of our days during our honeymoon! We hired a car during our stay, so it could have been based anywhere and we'd have likely loved it all the same. Thank you for hosting us!

We stayed in a lovely wooden glamping hut for three days. The camp is situated among bananas, which makes it very interesting. The whole area, including showers, toilet, etc. is well maintained and clean. While we had a car, I don't think it is unmanageable to stay at BananaCamp without one - it's about 30min walk to the city and the whole island is very hitchhiker friendly.
Looking forward to visit again!

The place is wonderful: full of banana trees!! Like a jungle. You have natural bananas and maracuyas whenever you want!
The camp is very close to Angra do Heroismo (less than 20 minutes by car), very close as well to the village of Mateus (a nice one) and, above all: if you cross the road you have the sea!!
Our cavana was comfy and the kitchen, the shower and the toilet were just next to it.
It is very nice to sit outside and have dinner there. We met some very nice people there and the atmosphere was relaxed.
The hosts were nice and helpful too.
We were there for nine days and our experience has been really good. If we come back, we will probably repeat!! :)
