Fraga da Pena
The Fraga da Pena waterfalls are a beautiful natural phenomenon. Water cascades down all year round. However, it is most impressive in spring.

Fraga da Pena is located in the heart of the protected natural area of Mata da Margaraça in the Serra do Açor.

The rooms
We have the luxury classic room with a large private bathroom. This room is rural and romantically decorated. Ideal for couples, couples for a luxurious relaxing holiday or on a honeymoon.

Bed and Breakfast Arganil also has 2 family rooms. The Byzantine room is suitable for 4 people and therefore ideal for families with young children. The room has a large private balcony. It is also the only room where a pet, dog is allowed.

The other family room is suitable for 3 people. The room is very large, 35m2 and therefore a cot can easily fit in there. We can add this on request.

Finally, we have the Far East or missionary room. This room is very suitable for friends or older children because the room has 2 single beds.
