Moalboal Eco Lodge
Moalboal Eco Lodge is built by nature lovers for nature lovers. Our bamboo Nipa Huts are nestled amongst palm trees, and our location is close enough to cycle to all amenities, but far enough away to enjoy sunsets, yoga, peace and tranquillity.
Our two private bamboo huts have a queen size bed, tea/coffee making facilities, safety deposit box, and a partial open air hot water rainshower. We also have a spacious 4-bed dormitory with large lockers that have a charging socket inside, large beds with a shelf for storing water bottle/charging phones overnight, and the shower is also partial open air with hot water. All beds have mosquito net, however we have many wild mint plants dotted around the land which acts as a natural mosquito repellent. We sell 100% natural DEET-Free mosquito repellent in our Eco Shop. Our new yoga shala and sunset deck is nearly finished, and we hope to offer yoga retreats sometime in the future.
Our location is 7 minutes from famous Panagsama Beach, where you can snorkel, scuba dive or freedive with turtles and 8 million sardines right off the beach. We are also 7 minutes away from Moalboal town where you will find the supermarkets, and bus stop to/From Cebu City which run regularly. Beautiful White Beach is 10 minutes away, Kawasan Falls is 30 minutes, and many waterfalls can be found 45 minutes away. We are happy to help you with tour and day trip recommendations.

We have a free water refill station for all guests to use, and in the private rooms, we supply refillable aluminium water bottles and a canvas tote bag for use during their stay. For smokers, we supply a portable ashtray to take to the beach, and our Eco Shop sells plastic free, palm oil free, zero waste and vegan products to start people on their eco-conscious journey.
Rainwater collection supplies the resort with water, rooms are cleaned with natural products, and we only use plant based laundry and dishwashing products. Our small menu offers vegan and vegetarian options, including breakfast, however we can also help you with restaurant recommendations (for meat eaters and vegan/vegetarians). We have bicycles for rent and encourage guests to use them in a bid to reduce fossil fuel.
Working closely with the local community, we have reliable and honest tour operators who pride themselves on looking after our guests when canyoneering or walking Osmena Peak.
