Vegotel

The Waddensea area has recently been voted the most beautiful nature location in the Netherlands. There are four national parks in the region and it is a Unesco world heritage site. A beautiful area for cycling and walking. Only 8 minutes away from Dokkum and 20 minutes from Leeuwarden and the A31 towards Amsterdam.

How do we contribute to a better environment:

• We only use solar energy.
• Our interior is ecofriendly as much as possible, partly through the use of sustainable materials and second-hand furniture.
• Biodegradable cleaning and care products.
• A vegan breakfast, Dutch, French or a full English. Vegan food is one of the easiest ways to contribute to a better
environment. And thanks to the modern meat and dairy substitutes you do not have to miss anything.
• Electric car and bicycle rent.

At Vegotel you can choose between two guest rooms. Both have direct access to the bathroom, if only one room is rented you have a private bathroom. Both are suitable for two people, have free coffee and tea facilities and free internet with a LAN connection (due to health risks no wifi). Both guestrooms have a beautiful and unobstructed view over the meadows and can be rented together at a reduced rate, ask for the possibilities.

Our service includes daily cleaning, bed linen and a Dutch breakfast. A French or full English breakfast is available at extra costs. Furthermore, you can choose between three package deals which includes dinner, lunch, bicycle rent and a welcome beverage on your guestroom. Electric car and bicycle rent are also possible. Vegotel room prices includes VAT and tourist tax. A full board holiday is also possible at Vegotel. For the in between groceries we work together with Ekoplaza, a local fully organic supermarket with a wide range of vegan products.
