The farm Pirapora is located on a hill that faces the sea, 250 meters high. From here the panoramic view offers unique views of Tropea, the Gulf of Lamezia Terme and the Aeolian Islands. You who comes to stay at the farm can reach the sea on foot or by bike, with a distance of only 3 km.
Pirapora can accommodate up to 10 families in three brick structures, made of cedar wood ceilings, lime plaster, terracotta floors, windows and furniture in pine, all treated with organic paint. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable, all equipped with bathrooms and verandas with hammocks and deck chairs. Four of the ten rooms and all common areas were built and equipped for the disabled.
We offer our guests a half-board service that includes:
- Room with linen and cleaning every other day;
- Breakfast and dinner
In the farm there is also a nice lounge where you can organize small meetings and courses for groups.
For schools, or even small groups, Pirapora organizes theme days, or specific activities ranging from visiting the farm to the realization of a herbarium of medicinal plants, for sowing practical activities or harvest fruit or vegetables.
All around stretch the Mediterranean scrub, olive groves and vineyards: 8 hectares of land planted, from which you can produce almost everything that is served on the table. Thanks to organic farming and permaculture, attempting to preserve the authenticity of the products.
They produce oil, wine, walnuts and hazelnuts, almonds, red onion, fresh fruit, vegetables, potatoes and more. There are also farm animals. Those who wish can participate in the farm activities, or visit other nearby companies.

The bad news is that there was a mistake with the booking and we had to share an apartment instead of the two separate ones I had booked, not the fault of pirapora, but a miscommunication from the Ecobnb. However Rose was more than helpful in trying to sort it out.
The journey to the place was horrendous, the road that googlemaps takes you on is completely unsuitable for cars, we sustained 200 euros worth of damage from scratches and rocks. Again not the fault of the owners. Ecobnb must warn guests about the road and direct people away from Google maps, and explain the alternative route, which I understand is simple.
However once there Rose could not have been more helpful. The food, outstanding, simple but delicious, the wine so pleasant, the staff, everyone happy and helpful. The apartment was spotless.
We did discover that it is a very family oriented venue, with many happy children running around freely, so if you dont have children with you be aware of that.
The sunset was magnificent and the restaurant takes full advantage with its position.
We were lucky to be there on a day when we had a farm tour. The owners passion and experience was a delight to encounter and we learnt a lot of new thoughts on bio diversity and permaculture.
I would 100% recommend if you pay attention to how you get there. The value for money, outstanding.

Esperienza stupenda, assolutamente da ripetere. Posto incantevole, gestori meravigliosi, molto scrupolosi nell'attenersi alle norme anti covid. Stanza con una vista pazzesca.
