Splendid guest house in the Friulian mountains, in the heart of Carnia, a stone's throw from the Terme di Arta and at the foot of the Zoncolan
A welcoming eco-sustainable guest house set in an ancient seventeenth-century residence, with arches and cross vaults typical of Carnia architecture, in the historic center of the hamlet of Piano d'Arta (600 meters above sea level), in the heart of Carnia, 10 kilometers from the Monte Zoncolan ski resort.
The room has a private bathroom, has wooden beams and furniture, and is furnished with a double bed and a single bed, bedside tables, wardrobe and table with chairs, with the possibility of adding a cot for children. Attached to the room there is an area suitable for the independent preparation of breakfasts which, on request and as an option, can also be used to prepare small meals.
Free wifi internet is available to guests.
Optionally, as an additional service, it is possible to agree on breakfast (served), abundant and genuine, offers organic and zero-mile products, is served in the living room, on the first floor of the house.
The guesthouse is the ideal starting point for cultural itineraries - such as visits to the towns and museums of Zuglio, Tolmezzo, Treppo, Paluzza, Sutrio - but also for skiing at the M.te Zoncolan complex, nature excursions, from the via delle malghe to the highest peaks of Friuli, or wellness in the center of Arta Terme. A few steps from the Sot i volz structure there are restaurants, pizzerias, typical places with Carnic cuisine, a newsagent, pharmacy, and bus stop. In summer, guests have access to agreements for bicycle rental for trips in the surrounding area, while in winter you can make use of a room to store your ski equipment.

Un secondo soggiorno anche questa volta squisito dall'inizio alla fine. Daniela, la proprietaria, preparatissima conoscitrice della zona, ci ha accolto nella struttura facendoci sentire benvenuti, deliziandoci la mattina seguente con una colazione "carnica" composta da marmellate, formaggi e miele del posto. Camera spaziosa. Posto rilassante e assolutamente da consigliare.

Ottima posizione vista sulle montagne friulane mozzafiato.Camere arredate con gusto tutta in legno e pulitissima . Proprietari gentilissimi che amano la loro terra . Buonissima colazione a km 0 e all'insegna della genuinota' .
