The Cooperativa Albergo Diffuso Comeglians was founded in 1999 in Povolaro di Comeglians with the aim of managing the Borgo Carnia Vacanze Maranzanis in order to enhance the local mountain area through the promotion, coordination, animation and organization of various activities in the tourism, environmental and handicraft sector.
The Albergo Diffuso offers you a dip in perfumes, sounds and traditions that will remain etched in the heart, in Comeglians where the majestic nature extends between the massifs of Crostis and Zoncolan and the green valley of Degano, and life follows rhythms elsewhere now forgotten.
Ancient houses with a typically rural style, old farmhouses and stables have been carefully restored to offer guests a comfortable stay. Freedom in the management of one's own time and living spaces is combined with a typical central coordination of the hotel, with a unique reception always available to satisfy every need.
The Albergo Diffuso Comeglians is divided between enchanting villages and hamlets: Ravascletto, Salars, Comeglians, Maranzanis, Povolaro, Tualis, Vuezzis and welcomes you in a large reception with adjoining breakfast room / restaurant, set in a rustic recovered from what a time was the old dairy in the country. The rooms, all equipped with TV and equipped with bed linen and towels, differ greatly in size and type in an effort to meet every need.
The restaurant room is served by a professional kitchen adjoining the reception and allows the treatment of half board or full board for groups up to 70 people.
Within a short distance are the 30 km of slopes of the Ravascletto / Zoncolan ski area, while ski mountaineering lovers have access to the thrilling slopes of Monte Crostis.
In the summer it is possible to take the "Panoramica delle Vette", asphalted road that starts from the hamlet of Tualis, climbs to 1900 meters above sea level and then continues for a few kilometers, offering a spectacular panorama, unique in the world. The road has become famous thanks to the missed stage of the Giro d'Italia 2011.
From the panorama of the Vette starts the path that leads to the top of Mount Crostis: when you reach the summit you face the imposing massif of Monte Coglians and often meet the marmots or admire the flight of an eagle. Going back down to the valley, you can stop at Agriturismo Chiadinas or stop to buy dairy products at Malga Crostis.
