The entire area is committed to innovative projects in the energy field, in the reduction of fossil fuels, in mobility, in the care of the landscape in the broad sense. To guarantee an improvement in the quality of life of the inhabitants which also translates into the way of doing tourism.
Living with a low ecological impact is possible and above all it is achievable as our territory is demonstrating, through a network of concrete actions and targeted choices, in full respect of a unique environment as attested by the recognition of the Pale di San Martino as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The community of the valley in fact uses 100% of self-produced electricity from renewable sources. Even domestic heating is produced at 80% from woody biomass from a local supply chain, with modern district heating systems.
And it is thanks to the use of renewable sources, the active and concrete commitment to energy saving and the creation of alternative mobility with zero environmental impact that the Primiero Valley is the first zero-impact area in Italy.
What do we do for the environment at HOTEL ISOLABELLA?
In the hotel we have 100% of electrical and thermal energy from renewable sources.
A small gesture can change the world. we #isolalovers are committed to environmental sustainability with eco-friendly measures:
- we source many local products and/or in any case short supply chains
- in all our environments we use low-consumption light bulbs, while in many common areas there are systems for turning off lights or with presence detectors
- separate waste collection is part of our daily life and we are committed to doing it as best as possible to respect the environment around us and also those who work in this sector
- most of our rooms are equipped with an electronic key to activate electricity (by removing the card, electricity is deactivated in just 2 minutes)
- we promote sustainable mobility: we offer a bicycle rental service (both normal and pedal-assisted with charging at our expense); we provide charging for the car - electric always free of charge (dedicated station in our garage)
- we offer vegetarian choices in our menus
- for our food and wine events in the garden and in the cabin, we use biodegradable glasses, cutlery, plates and straws
- in the restaurant we use filtered water in glass bottles
- we use liquid soap dispensers for the showers in the rooms
- we change linens only on request (in each room we have posted a notice for our guests, to help us take care of the environment by changing linens only when strictly necessary)
- we provide slippers for the wellness center (rubber flip-flops) free of charge only on request to reduce plastic consumption
- Trentino Guest Card included for every stay (eco-mobility; food and wine; free admissions)

Camera e spazi comuni molto accoglienti ed arredati con gusto ed attenzione ai particolari. Nella nostra stanza il pavimento era in legno ed alle pareti c'erano stampe con foto tratte dall'ambiente della zona. Colazione a buffet molto varia sia dolce che salato. La Spa una vera chicca...! Posizione centralissima. Abbiamo pernottato solo due notti ma ci siamo trovati molto bene.
