Podere del 1900 with a spectacular 180 ° view on the hills of the Val d'Orcia, 2 km. from the village of Monticchiello, a hamlet of Pienza (Siena). The structure consists of a main building (the house) and an annex a few meters away. The entire property includes 9 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms and can accommodate 23 people and more (on request). Both the house and the annex are equipped with pergolas equipped to eat and relax enjoying the view. Surrounded by a garden with Mediterranean scrub, rosemary, roses, olive and cypress trees, two fountains, swimming pool and solarium.
The house, of 300 square meters on two floors, is a typical Tuscan farmhouse, with six bedrooms and five bathrooms, double living room, kitchen and dining room, with exposed beams on the ceilings, wooden floor in the bedrooms and terracotta handmade on the ground floor.
The rooms, painted in lime with beautiful natural colors, are furnished with oriental antique furniture, fabrics and ethnic carpets, old prints, a collection of contemporary art. The fireplaces in the living room and the studio heat the cooler evenings, in the kitchen the wood stove warms up in the middle of the seasons, assisted by a pellet stove and gas heating for the winter.
The annex is a structure of 400 square meters, with geothermal heating and cooling and photovoltaic panels. Inside there are three double bedrooms and four bathrooms, a meditation room of 80 square meters, a large semi-professional kitchen, a dining room, a living room of 120 square meters that can be used as a practice room or as a dormitory (3 sofa beds besides some futons).
In 2007, the property was renovated according to the principles of Feng Shui to create an energetically powerful and at the same time relaxing space.
NOTE:
Rental from saturday to saturday, minimum stay high season 5 nights - low season 3 nights, except for exceptions to be assessed together.
Check-in from 3pm to 6pm / check-out before 10am.
It is not allowed to organize parties and events.
It is necessary to go up the stairs to access the 1st floor.
Disabled accessibility for a double room with bathroom on the ground floor (ask for more information).
