Ten minutes from the small medieval town of Radicondoli, at "Podere la Fonte" you will find agritourism hospitality in a small organic farm in the hills of Siena, with a view of Volterra and San Gimignano.
La Fonte is a small and ancient stone farmhouse, located on a slope of the hill on which the town of the Medieval castle of the Municipality of Radicondoli stretches, with views of Volterra, San Gimignano and many other castles and towns located on the neighboring hills.
Woods, pastures, vines, olive trees, fruit trees surround the farm which ranges almost "between earth and sky" and dominates the magnificent valley of the Cecina river.
The agriculture that is practiced at "Podere la Fonte" is organically run, with the production of cereals, grapes, olives, hay, fruit and vegetables, officinal plants. Part of the productions are transformed into the food laboratory set up in the company. The production of cereals, grapes, olives, hay, fruit and vegetables, medicinal plants, are controlled by ICEA (Institute for Ethical and Environmental Certification).
Our agritourism activity is now twenty years old. Already in the 80s when the farm was not yet known we had requests for a holiday in the countryside. With care we continue to take care of the restoration and maintenance of the entire stone and brick building which forms the heart of the whole farm.
The agricultural activity that is carried out at the Fonte is mainly intended for the production of products that serve the self-sufficiency of the farm and the home.
We have 2 apartments for 2 people, well equipped for all seasons, or 6 double / twin rooms with private bathroom. It is also possible to rent two communicating rooms with shared bathroom.

At the time of booking, a confirmation deposit of 20/100 of the total stay must be sent to the bank account. The confirmation deposit will not be refundable in the event of cancellation.

Siamo a disposizione dei nostri ospiti per ospitarli al meglio e per questo a misura delle nostre forze che dedichiamo all'ospitalità possiamo ospitare per soggiorni di minimo sette giorni. L'agriturismo che pratichiamo a supporto dell'attività agricola puo'essere per noi un aiuto ma essendo una piccola azienda a conduzione famigliare non possiamo che dedicarci all'attività di ricezione con tempi ben ponderati sul servizio che vogliamo rendere al meglio. Vi ringraziamo per la compresione ma il luogo dove ci troviamo vale la pena di essere aprezzato con tempi dilatati e tranquilli. Il silenzio, la calma vanno goduti e ci vuole tempo.

The rustic apartment is comfortable and has everything you need. The hosts were kind and very welcoming, even setting a log fire for our arrival on a rainy day! The surroundings are beautiful and the hill top village of Radicondoli is only 10 minutes walk away so very convenient.
It has been noticed: Organic Food, Energy saving lights, Ecological cleaning products, More than 80% waste recycling, Recovery & reuse of rainwater.
