Tenuta Colfiorito
Colfiorito Farm is situated a few kilometers from Rome, in the municipality of Castel Madama, at the exact place where stood two thousand years ago a Roman villa.
The town was in fact well known to the ancient Romans, who have left numerous traces as the Claudian aqueduct and the villa of Horace.
The area which surrounds the estate is that of Tiburtine Mountains begins just past Tivoli and opens in the valley Empolitana an ancient landscape, still uncontaminated by the proximity to Rome, and from where the people have always devoted to olive growing, the viticulture and sheep.
