The long history of families of settlers and sharecroppers is contained in this ancient and evocative stone farmhouse. Renovated maintaining its characteristic aspects and making eco-sustainable choices, Podere Groppini offers the possibility of staying in a double room or in an apartment.
Surrounded by a chestnut garden, the farmhouse is located just below the ancient walls of Fivizzano and can be easily reached following the municipal road.
It is possible to use the restaurant service at the Podere “Dioltre dall'acqua” which can be reached with a pleasant 10-15 minute walk on a path in the woods. The restaurant is only open for dinner upon reservation during the week. On Sundays and holidays there is also the possibility of lunches, by reservation only.
Breakfast is served from 8 to 10 in our restaurant. You will enjoy honey and jams from our production, toasted bread and fresh ricotta, desserts made by us, yogurt with wild fruit, coffee, fresh milk and juices.
4-legged friends are always allowed on request and only in some room types with a supplement of 10 euros per day. They are not allowed in the internal restaurant room while they are welcome in the outdoor dining area.
You can buy local products in our Agribottega del Gusto in the historic center of Fivizzano (10/15 minutes walk from the farmhouse)
