Die Weinrose is located on the slopes of Mount Berlinghera, just a few minutes from Lake Como.
It is a detached house located in the pedestrian village of Burano, a hamlet of Montemezzo; in a very quiet area away from traffic.
The house is spacious and offers 4 beds in addition to a small garden and a terrace.
Die Weinrose takes its name from the wild rose of the Alps. In the garden you can appreciate both this ancient rose and the aromatic herbs available for your cooking.
The accommodation is structured on two levels:
Lower floor consisting of:
- entrance to large living room with dining table, TV, sofa
- kitchen equipped with oven, dishwasher and induction hob.
- bathroom with large shower
- closet
- private garden.
Going up a modern flight of stairs you reach the sleeping area with 2 bedrooms: one double and one with two single beds.
From both bedrooms you can access the terrace from which you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the Alps.
Next to the terrace is another private green area of the house.
From the garden in front of the entrance to the house you can also access the utility room where you can store bicycles or sports equipment. The washing machine is also available in the room.
The accommodation is located in Montemezzo, a hilly area overlooking the town of Gera Lario.
The paths start from Burano, the area in fact offers wonderful routes that lead to the lake or to the top of Mount Berlinghera.
The paths, immersed in the chestnut woods, are ideal for those who go trekking or have a passion for mountain biking.
From the accommodation you can reach the lake, by car, in 10 minutes.

Payment and Cancellation Terms
50% of the amount of the stay is due at the time of booking. The balance is to be paid upon arrival at the property. TOURIST TAX The tourist tax, introduced from 1 January 2024 and equal to €1.00/night per person (for a maximum of 5 nights) will be paid upon arrival at the house. Children under the age of 12 are exempt.

Neues, gut ausgestattetes und sehr sauberes Haus in wunderbarer Lage gelegen mit einem Ausblick, an dem wir uns nie satt sehen konnten!!! Die Weinrose im kleinen Bergdorf Burano ist eine unglaubliche Unterkunft, die man nur zauberhaft finden kann. Die Schönheit der umliegenden Berge und der traumhafte Ausblick auf den Comer See muss man live erlebt haben. Burano ist ein idyllischer, kleiner Ort, der an ein altes Mittelalterdorf erinnert: zu schön, um wahr zu sein!
Das Haus war bei Ankunft blitzsauber und duftend. Auch gibt es eine großzügige Erstausstattung (Gewürze, Öl, Getränke, Kaffee und Zucker, Kuchen und Hygieneartikel). Luciano und Cristian sind so herzliche und immer um unser Wohl bemühte Gastgeber!!! Das Haus verfügt über zwei Terrassen mit gemütlichen und neuen Outdoormöbeln, auf denen wir es uns täglich gemütlich gemacht haben. Alles grünt und duftet. Zudem durften wir uns auch am Kräuterbeet bedienen. Für den Weg zum See benötigt man mit dem Auto zehn Minuten. Dort findet man einen kleinen Supermarkt, Apotheken, Restaurants und schöne Spazierwege entlang des Sees. Die Straßen hoch zum Bergdorf sind gut befahrbar, man sollte jedoch schwindelfrei sein 😊.
Klare Empfehlung für alle Naturliebhaber. Wir wollten für immer bleiben. Danke an Luciano und Cristian für die herzliche Gastfreundschaft!!!
