The Casa d'Arte is an ancient stone house in the heart of the mountain village of Quarna Sotto. It has a beautiful courtyard with a small garden and a terrace for relaxing.
On the ground floor there is a large dining kitchen with space for 16 people and a WC.
On the two upper floors there are five bedrooms and a bathroom. The bedrooms are accessible from the balcony. There are a total of 5 double beds and 6 single beds.
Quarna Sotto is a small mountain village at 809 meters above sea level, just 7 km from the beautiful Lake Orta. During walks in the village and nearby forests you can enjoy breathtaking views of the mountains and the lake.
There are several restaurants (pizzeria + club). There is also a small supermarket in the nearby village of Quarna Sopra, 1 km away.
The lively town of Omegna is located directly on the lake and offers beaches, restaurants, shops and an interactive museum.
The beautiful historic center of Orta San Giulia can be reached in 30 minutes by car or boat. From here you can take a boat trip to the monastery island.
IMPORTANT: The house has two wood stoves for heating, one on the ground floor and one on the upper floor. An ecological boiler provides hot water.
The bedrooms are accessible from the balcony.
When booking in spring and autumn, please bring warm clothes and shoes!
The character of the house was changed as little as possible during the renovation. We have lovingly renovated it, including the creaky floors and uneven walls. If you expect perfection, keep looking :)
