You'll live in a natural farm! We manage some olive trees and forest in the Umbria hills. We place great value in the balance of natural ecosystems.
Your cozy home is part of the farmhouse, with his own entrance, his own small kitchen and the private bathroom. Full indipendence!
You are free to relax outside, under the bright sun or in the shade of a tree. Be curious of our activities or visit one of the many stunning and experiencefull place around here.
There's also a coworking area (wifi 20mb) where you can set up your temporary office.
Want to explore forest and hills in search of old castles? Want to take a bath at the hot springs or under a cold waterfall? Want to relax sightseeing one of the many stunning medieval cities around here?
The whole area as a very high naturalistic value, and you can reach it easily! We are 9km away from the highway and from the railway station. There are 3 bus a day connecting there, but you could actually walk your way alongside trails.
The nearest town (Ficulle) is 3km away, and you can reach Rome or Florence in 2 hours by train. Many stunning place of central Italy are just 1 hour away from you!
We are proud of Not having a pool, neither a.c. (of course we have advanced wood-heating system). We're also proud of the bumpy and sturdy ancient stone road that grant access to the farm!
Some of our ecological achievements not listed by Ecobnb include treatment of waste water with a bio-sewer (wetland system), seed saving, integration of wild ecosystem into the farm system and soil bioengineering.
We are part of Comunità Rurale Diffusa and Wwoof Italia networks.
Please mind that by living in a true natural farm you will be exposed to the wildlife as well as noises from farm pets and farmers.

Il soggiorno a podere Gaipa è stato meraviglioso, calmo, famigliare e accogliente. Il luogo dove è posizionato il podere è allo stesso tempo immerso nel verde, ma vicino al paese di Ficulle per ogni evenienza, dalla spesa ad una cena fuori. Francesco è un ospite accogliente attento e discreto, si impegna a consigliare, ha creato delle mappette del luogo per orientarsi al meglio in camminate, luoghi da visitare, posti dove mangiare o comprare prodotti tipici. Abbiamo condiviso un pomeriggio di visita a della cascate naturali e una serata insieme, in cui Francesco ha fatto la pizza per tutti. L'appartamento è nuovo, silenzioso, autonomo e dotato di tutti i confort. Il plateatico a disposizione esterno è magico. Assolutamente consigliato per vivere una vacanza di relax, immersi nella natura e nella pace, con belle persone ma anche intimità. Il rapporto qualità prezzo poi, è imbattibile. Torneremo di sicuro!
