The rooms are designed to offer a rejuvenating rest, with large, comfortable beds, natural cotton linens, and materials free of plastic and harmful chemicals. Each room has a private bathroom and spacious shower, for a stay that promotes physical and mental well-being.
We use only biodegradable products, as hygiene and cleanliness are absolutely possible without poisoning ourselves and the environment.
Breakfast, prepared with fresh, authentic ingredients, is a true celebration of local tradition, featuring homemade products and/or products sourced from nearby farms. We also offer vegetarian and vegan menus, though not exclusively, because we believe that a tasty and healthy diet is possible, even without impacting the animal kingdom, and we enjoy sharing our experience with others.
Here you can enjoy a Digital Detox stay, thanks to the absence of phone and Wi-Fi signals in most of our spaces, encouraging you to connect with yourself and the surrounding nature, with some areas also offering internet access.
All spaces are furnished with natural materials such as stone and wood, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Here you can enjoy a unique experience, choosing between a solo stay or a family stay, without sacrificing tranquility.
The Marcofrate farmhouse also offers spaces where you can spend time immersed in nature: the terrace, the garden, the woods, and the saltwater swimming pool overlooking the Umbrian hills. The paths through the woods allow for relaxing walks, rediscovering the peace of the surrounding nature. The area is perfect for those who love walking, trekking, or simply relaxing in the shade of the trees, breathing in fresh, clean air.
Marcofrate is also an example of sustainable agriculture. The land, mostly wooded, is managed with passion, respecting nature's rhythms. The vegetable garden and medicinal herbs are a first step toward natural agriculture, which will soon yield its fruits in the form of olive oil and truffles. Agriturismo molto bello e immerso nel verde, curato e pulito. Marco Frate si trova in una posizione strategia per visitare numerosi borghi dell'Umbria e per fare trekking sul monte Subasio. Marianna, la proprietaria, è stata sempre molto disponibile e gentile con noi dandoci numerosi consigli per il nostro viaggio. Lo consigliamo per chi vuole soggiornare lontano dal traffico e recuperare energie e buon umore!
