Our farm was born from a dream, that of changing your life and living in close contact with nature and animals. Now we can share this dream with you too!
We are Giulia and Nathan, an Italian-English couple who almost 5 years ago decided to leave a permanent job (Giulia is a nurse, Nathan is a worker and cook) and a country to move to the Umbrian-Marche hills.
We are located in the municipality of Gubbio, at 750 meters above sea level in the small hamlet of Santa Maria di Burano, a half-hour drive from the center of Gubbio.
Perfect places for walks in the woods, mushroom and truffle picking, a stone's throw from us is a restaurant renowned for the freshest truffles collected in the area, Da Baffone.
To welcome you, you will not only find peace, nature, relaxation and starry nights but also chickens, ducks, goats, a friendly Sardinian donkey and a domestic pig, dogs and cats, with whom we share this wonderful change of life.
Our small agricultural activity was born on the basis of permaculture and natural agriculture, we are starting a production of aromatic plants, mainly lavender and thyme, we raise happy chickens, free to roam in the food forest, and we produce vegetables and microgreens.
We offer genuine and simple hospitality, with the possibility of tasting eggs, vegetables and herbal teas harvested on the day.
Our two mini apartments, Vanessa and Eros blue, with the characteristic colors of the butterflies that represent them, are both on the first floor, accessible from an external staircase, have an independent entrance from a panoramic terrace, living room with sofa bed and kitchenette, double bedroom and bathroom.
To support the biodiversity of the place and reduce the risks of deforestation and landslides, we invest part of the income of the structure in the planting of trees, aromatic plants and bushes.
