Al n°zero, nella campagna vulcanica
Immersed in the heart of the Aeolian countryside, with Stromboli and Panarea on the horizon, surrounded by plants, vegetable gardens and animals. Here rural tourism is practiced, one moves on foot, by bike or by donkey. "At Number Zero" is a place for travelers, not tourists!
This is a simple house in perfect Aeolian style. The last of Monte Gallina, the volcanic dome of Lipari Sud, is immersed in acres and hectares of countryside mixed with scrub and lava rock: olive trees, capers, brooms, fruit trees, cistus, wild fennel heather, the Aeolian centaurea etc. All coexists together in a small microsystem preserved almost maniacally. The inhabitants of this place are tired graduates of life in the city, donkeys, dogs, cats and chickens. You move on foot, collect rainwater, recycle almost everything and the food is self-powered. This is a place for travelers, and not for tourists.
