Luniluna Home - Camera con vista frutteto
A place to live, in every sense. For us, hospitality means sharing physical spaces and more. Our home is made of the energy of the people who have contributed to making it what it is.
Leila, Antonio, and Diego (our son). We are three people, first and foremost, who found each other—or rather, sought each other out—to grow and improve each other. Leila and Antonio share a graphic design and communications studio. Antonio is also a writer, with a passion for Ancient Egypt and its mysteries. Leila loves, above all, caring for people through listening and artistic expression. Diego is evolving, but he possesses a profound sensitivity to nature and people, and he loves building, inventing, and laughing freely. Since our meeting, we have learned, step by step, to listen to our weaknesses, to hone our strengths and willpower, as well as to cultivate our dreams to find a way to realize them with courage and determination. Luniluna was the last dream we dedicated ourselves to.
We desired it, imagined it, dreamed it, and then, searching and traveling, we found it. It's a house in an ancient, almost completely abandoned village in Lunigiana. Despite its precarious condition, we knew it was the place where our dream could come true. There were just the right spaces, a positive energy, a plot of land that edged into the woods, an orchard, and the constant sound of a stream. In some cases, we had to get involved ourselves, including taking two courses on raw earth and lime plaster and one on a heat-storage stove. We learned to be bricklayers, designed the kitchen and the bookcase-staircase, and had them built by a carpenter. We designed and created some lamps, the compost bin, the outdoor table, the benches, the chests of drawers, the bookcase, and a sofa bed using recycled materials. Luniluna today is a place of welcome, sharing, and well-being immersed in regenerating nature.
Living there means being part of our project and our desire to be with others, because we believe the time has come to join forces, to transform individual energies into a great regenerative force.
