Dimore diffuse in borgo medievale
Discover the soul of the village: authenticity, traditions, emotions.
The tiny medieval village of San Pio di Fontecchio, 25 km from L'Aquila, has maintained its original layout over the centuries: small stone houses connected by arches, cobblestone streets and the precious tranquility of a town away from the noise of mass tourism. It takes courage, professionalism and passion to bring this place back to its former glory. Giorgio and Stefania are working hard, building their future here.
The holiday homes are widespread, they are located in three buildings that have kept the names with which they were identified by the inhabitants of the village.
Each residence is different from the other, has a capacity ranging from two to six people, has an independent entrance, a fully equipped kitchen, one or more private bathrooms and overlooks terraces or large shared green spaces. The internal spaces are sanitized according to the legal provisions at each change of guest. Parking is on the street, free but not guarded.
The entire complex has 20 beds distributed in 8 residences from 2 to 6 beds. Pets are well liked.
At Vecchie Querce, hospitality is a ritual. We dedicate the right time to discover the passions of our guests, advising experiences and events that will make their holiday unforgettable.
Depending on the interests of the guests and the season, we provide maps and specialist guides on the trails and advice on excursions and difficulty levels, contacts with medium and alpine hiking guides and suggestions on where to practice other outdoor sports: hiking, trekking, climbing, mountaineering, skiing, horseback riding, rowing, fishing on the Aterno river. Some itineraries start right from our village without the need to travel by car.
Abruzzo is a land rich in villages, castles and naturalistic oases of rare beauty, easily reachable starting from our holiday homes.

Bellissimo e consigliato!
