The Pagliuzzo farmhouse is immersed in the green countryside. The farm produces legumes, lentils, beans, cicerchie and beans and olive oil.
Ustica, a field cultivated by the sea, where several generations of the Mancuso family have succeeded by dedicating time and effort in the cultivation of wheat, vine, melons, broad beans, cicerchie, beans, peas. And it is here, in the Pagliuzzo company, that the lentil is grown, the typical legume of the island using an ancient variety. Small, light brown on the outside and red on the inside, it has become, due to its rarity, a Slow Food presidium.
