We're 3 km from Asti, 50 km from Turin, and 30 km from Alba.
Casa Sonny is a 70-square-meter cottage furnished with antiques and works of art. Completely independent, it's located within the main house, a typical Piedmontese former farmhouse that my father, a painter, sculptor, and art collector, purchased and renovated with love and a unique eye for beauty.
The surrounding garden, rich in trees and historical artifacts, is ready to make you feel part of this ancient world, a dreamlike place waiting to be explored. There are fruit and ornamental trees, flowers and shrubs of all kinds, stone benches and tables, a sandstone gazebo and pergolas, and a synergistic vegetable garden.
Board games, Frisbee, and bocce ball for children are available.
Casa Sonny comprises:
- a 30-square-meter living room/kitchen, complete with dishwasher and various useful appliances (juicer, toaster, microwave, blender, centrifuge, etc.), with a comfortable double sofa bed. An HD TV with DVD player is also available. The refrigerator and pantry provide essentials for breakfast, a snack, or an aperitif (milk, bread, butter, jam, yogurt, juices, biscuits, a bottle of local wine or sparkling wine, as well as the ever-present Piedmontese hazelnuts and seasonal fruit). Brochures, maps, and books about Asti and the surrounding area.
There is no air conditioning, but a large wooden ceiling fan is provided.
- A corridor with a huge bookcase (books in all languages) leads to the two bedrooms and the bathroom.
- A bedroom with a double bed and two windows: one overlooks the patio/garden, the other overlooks the hill.
- A second bedroom with a double bed and two lancet windows.
- A bathroom with shower.
- Casa Sonny can accommodate up to 6 people in total.
Upon request, we offer a playpen cot for children (up to 2 years old).
You will have exclusive use of the large patio covered by a wisteria and jasmine pergola, in front of the cottage entrance, with a recycled wood table, iron chairs, deck chairs, and a swing. Above the cottage, there is also a private path leading to a lawn with a large fig tree in the center and plum trees.
Of course, you can stroll through the park/orchard (common area) and stop to pick hazelnuts or other seasonal fruit.
There's no pool here, just relaxation, peace, and plenty of greenery.
Next to Casa Sonny is another cottage (Casa Pimpa), which we also rent for short periods, and the main house (where we live), all completely independent of each other.
The entrance is private and hidden: that is, you can come and go without anyone seeing or disturbing you. Access is via a path through the pine, larch, and bamboo grove, and stone steps.
The shared areas include the parking lot (under a cool wooden shelter) and the park with the orchard and vegetable garden.
Bicycles are available free of charge; please request one when booking.
IMPORTANT: Tourist tax to be hand-delivered: €2 per day per guest for a maximum of 4 days. After the 4th day, no further payment is made. Children under 10 are exempt.
Registration documents will be required upon arrival.

Payment and Cancellation Terms
A 50% deposit is required upon booking. The remaining 50% will be paid on the day of arrival. In the event of cancellations made no later than 14 days before the start of the stay, the deposit will be fully refunded.
