Our spacious, pet-friendly, bike-friendly, and eco-friendly R&B, called "TOLASUDOLSA" (in Parmesan dialect: take it easy), is located 830 meters above sea level in the Parma Apennines.
We are immersed in lush greenery, far from everything. The experience and atmosphere will be very familiar, with the pleasure of falling asleep in the evening and waking up in the morning to the sounds of the forest, wild animals, and the mountains. The traditional cuisine is homemade, not local, and authentic, and we strive to cater to a type of tourism that is more respectful of the environment, the economy, and the community, especially local ones (eco-cuisine, anti-waste, KM 0, self-production, etc.).
The main entrance is divided into the ground floor, where Valeria and Giorgio, the owners, live, and the R&B located on floor 1. Here you'll find three simple, spacious, and comfortable bedrooms, a large shared dining room, and full bathrooms located outside the bedrooms but immediately adjacent to them.
Smoking is prohibited inside and outside the house. Giorgio and Valeria share a few cats that are free to roam outside, so any pets must be agreed upon at the time of booking. The owners are available to arrange arrival times and hand over keys so guests can return at their own pace.
During the winter season, reservations are accepted only at least 48 hours in advance of check-in.
WHAT TO DO - The area and the property are easily accessible from major cities in northern Italy, and the location is ideal for day trips to Lunigiana-Tuscany, the Cinque Terre, Sestri Levante and/or Chiavari for a day at the beach even in winter, Parma and Bologna, or to visit the local castles and villages. Sports such as mountain biking, enduro motorcycling, trekking, trail running, horseback riding, snowshoeing, sledding, Nordic skiing, and cross-country skiing are also available.
The area is renowned for the Borgo Val di Taro PGI porcini mushrooms, the Ceno Valley truffle, and its delicious mountain food and wine, with dishes influenced by Parma, Liguria, and Tuscany.
NEARBY - The Ghirardi WWF Oasis, approximately 5 km away, extends across 600 hectares of meadows, woods, and streams. It is home to countless species of animals, plants, and mushrooms; it hosts rare habitats and an enchanting landscape, constantly changing with the passing of the seasons. The Oasis can be visited freely on foot every day, accessing from Costa dei Rossi (Albareto) or Porcigatone (Borgotaro).
The main towns, with museums, shops, cinemas, supermarkets, etc., are between 5 and 12 km away.

It has a main entrance but divided to enter the ground floor, where Valeria & Giorgio the owners live, and the R&B located on the first floor. Here are the 3 simple, spacious and comfortable bedrooms, a large room for breakfast and lunches and the complete bathrooms that are outside the bedrooms but immediately next to them.
Inside and outside of the house is no-smoking area. With Valeria & Giorgio live some cats that are free to move even outside so the presence of other pets must be agreed at the time of booking. The owner is available, agreeing arrival time in structure, to hand over the keys so that the guests are independent and can return at a desired time.
DURING THE WINTER SEASON RESERVATIONS ARE ACCEPTED ONLY WITH A MINIMUM OF 48H BEFORE THE CHECK-IN
WHAT TO DO - The area and the R&B are easily accessible from the main cities of the north Italy and the location is ideal for day trips to Lunigiana in Tuscany, to Cinqueterre, Sestri Levante and/or Chiavari all in Liguria for a day at the beach) to Parma and Bologna or to the castles in the area. It is also ideal for a day at the beach even in winter, in Parma and Bologna or to visit the Castles and Villages of the area. You can also practice sports like: MOUNTAIN BIKE ENDURO MOTORBIKE, TREKKING, TRAILRUNNING, HORSERIDING, SNOWSHOES, SLEEDOG, NORDIC SKIING AND CROSS COUNTRY SKIING.
The area is renowned for the PGI porcini mushroom of Borgo Val di Taro, for the truffle of Valceno and for the delicious mountain gastronomy, with dishes that are influenced by the Parmesan, Ligurian and Tuscan.
NEARBY - The WWF Oasis of the Ghirardi, which is 5Km away from Tolasudolsa, is spread over 600 hectares of meadows, woods and streams. Ospitalità e cordialità sono state alla base del soggiorno. Abbiamo avuto la possibilità di staccare la spina dalla quotidianità. Oltre alla colazione inclusa, di cui avevamo ampiamente scelta, abbiamo optato per la cena e il pranzo al sacco che ci è stato gentilmente preparato dalla proprietaria. Gli ambienti sono molto puliti. Divertente la presenza dei loro quattro gatti che si aggirano nel cortile. Soggiorno da rifare!
