Welcome to TOLASUDOLSA: Your Slow Retreat Between Nature, Sport, and Eco-Sustainability "Tolasudolsa," in our Parma dialect, means just one thing: take it slow, gently.
If you're looking for a place to unplug, recharge, and reconnect with authentic nature, you've found it. We're located at 830 meters above sea level in the Parma Apennines, immersed in lush greenery and wrapped in the silence of the mountains. Here, the only alarm clock you'll hear is the birdsong and the sounds of the forest.
We're a family-run, pet-friendly, bike-friendly, and eco-friendly Bed & Breakfast: with us, Valeria and Giorgio, you'll immediately feel at home.

We believe in tourism that respects the environment, local communities, and avoids waste. Our Home Restaurant and our cuisine reflect this philosophy:
Flavors of Home: Homemade, genuine dishes prepared with love (not just local, but always authentic!).
Eco-friendly philosophy: Zero-waste cuisine, locally sourced ingredients, and self-production. In season, you can even pick vegetables directly from our garden!
Exclusively dedicated and reserved for our guests staying at the property, you can enjoy lunch or dinner with our catering service. Our experience revolves around the idea of the Social Table: a single large table where you can sit down to savor local dishes, share stories, and enjoy a relaxed atmosphere that's different from the norm in a traditional restaurant.
For us, conducting service this way isn't just a hospitality choice, but a fundamental practice in pursuing eco-sustainability: a value we hold dear, one that has always guided both our family life and the daily management of our business. Our cuisine is express, tied to the rhythm of the seasons, and the choice of the agreed-upon menu is designed to offer a "tailor-made" experience and to avoid waste or overproduction.
For this reason, this service is available only by prior arrangement, with a minimum notice of 24 hours before check-in.
🛌 Our Spaces: Comfort and Freedom
The property is designed to guarantee you maximum independence (key collection agreed upon upon arrival for unscheduled return).
You can choose to stay in a room with a private bathroom or, for a family or group of friends/colleagues, in the entire apartment. On the first floor, a welcoming area entirely dedicated to guests:
3 spacious and comfortable bedrooms (two double/twin and one single).
2 full bathrooms, located in the corridor immediately next to the bedrooms.
A large shared dining room for breakfast and relaxation.
🐾 We love animals and pure air: To ensure everyone's well-being, our property is 100% smoke-free (both inside and outside). Since we have some free-roaming cats, the presence of other pets must be agreed upon at the time of booking.

Easily accessible from the main cities of Northern Italy, we are the ideal starting point for exploring a unique region:
Day Trips: In a flash, you can be in Lunigiana (Tuscany), the Cinque Terre, Sestri Levante or Chiavari (for a dip in the sea even in winter), or art cities like Parma and Bologna.
History and Culture: Just a few kilometers from us, you can visit the wonderful castles and historic villages of the area.
Unspoiled Nature: Just 5 km away is the Ghirardi WWF Oasis: 600 hectares of woods, meadows, and streams to explore on foot.
Excellent Food and Wine: This is the land of the prestigious Borgo Val di Taro PGI Porcino Mushroom, the Valceno Truffle, and a culinary tradition that expertly combines Parma, Ligurian, and Tuscan influences.

Whether you're an adrenaline junkie or a lover of relaxing walks, here's the perfect activity for you: mountain biking, enduro motorcycles, trekking, trail running, horseback riding, and in the winter, snowshoeing, dog sledding, Nordic skiing, and cross-country skiing.

Bike & Motorcycle Special: Secure overnight storage with shelves for wet/dirty equipment, outdoor washing area with pressure washer. Possibility of washing and drying technical clothing.
Cyclist Logistics: MTB pickup/transfer service by van.
Pampering and Comfort: À la carte breakfast, bed linens and towels, hairdryer, toiletries (no disposable samples to reduce plastic!), free Wi-Fi via social media.
For mushroom lovers: Possibility of stays without breakfast (in season).
Stress-free: For those arriving by train, free transfer to/from Borgo Val di Taro train station. Free private outdoor parking right in front of our property.

Guided experiences: MTB tours with a qualified guide, e-bike or mountain bike rentals with local partners, hiking excursions with a licensed guide, and horseback riding experiences nearby.

Payment and Cancellation Terms
This reservation will be confirmed only upon receipt of the confirmation deposit (bank or transaction fees at your expense), corresponding to the rate type you selected, according to the following timeframes: - within a maximum of 2 calendar days of acceptance by Tolasudolsa R&B, for reservations with check-in after 7/10 days from the date of booking. - or immediately for check-in within 7 days of the date of booking, or on the same day as the booking. If the corresponding deposit is not received, your reserved priority will automatically expire and the reservation will be cancelled.

Ospitalità e cordialità sono state alla base del soggiorno. Abbiamo avuto la possibilità di staccare la spina dalla quotidianità. Oltre alla colazione inclusa, di cui avevamo ampiamente scelta, abbiamo optato per la cena e il pranzo al sacco che ci è stato gentilmente preparato dalla proprietaria. Gli ambienti sono molto puliti. Divertente la presenza dei loro quattro gatti che si aggirano nel cortile. Soggiorno da rifare!
